Our protagonist: 31 year old male;  middle-income, university educated, hard-working, intelligent, funny (to a point), slim, of average looks and neither tall nor short. He's fit but not gifted at sport. He's funny but doesn't tell jokes. He's confident but doesn't attract attention. He's the guy who has to work hard not to blend in.
